DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite you to join us for an evening of Q&A.\nDiscipline will be the topic of this discussion night.\nStudents learn to discipline themselves out of a desire to behave in harmony with the social group. Refer to Montessori’s definition of ‘obedience’ – not breaking someone’s will\, but rather the desire of an individual to cooperate with others. As such\, rewards and punishments are not used in a Montessori environment. \nThe discussion will be around what discipline means in a Montessori context\, how it might look different to our own lived experiences\, what discipline expectations for each age group might be\, and how as parents and educators we can support confident and positive discipline practices. \nBooking your spot now!\nRSVP
