Pre-IB Excursion to the Joondalup Civic Centre on Tuesday 15 August 2017
The pre-IB students are planning to attend a City of Joondalup Council meeting and attend a Youth Engagement Workshop at the Joondalup Civic Centre on Tuesday 15 August 2017. Attending the council meeting will be a good opportunity for the students to gain understanding of the decision making process of a local government and also gain awareness of civic and community issues that arise on a local government level.
We will be leaving school at 8.45am, travel by school bus and will be returning to school at 2.45pm.
The students will be accompanied by Lena.
Morning tea will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.
Permission slips need to be returned to school by 28 July 2017.
