On Friday 23 June the Upper Primary students are planning to visit Yanchep National Park.

Activities for the day include discovering giant animals that roamed Perth’s landscape before people made Australia home, exploring Crystal cave, meeting koalas and a chocolate making workshop.

We will be leaving school at 9.00am and travel by teacher’s and parent’s cars to the venue. We will be returning to school at 2.45pm.

The students will be accompanied by Fiona and Zoe and we will need 3-4 parent volunteers to help with transport. Once we have received the permission slips, teaching staff will notify parent helpers if they are needed, depending on the numbers.

The students will need to bring a packed lunch, a water bottle, hat, jumper, sunscreen and sturdy enclosed shoes.

Please note no electronic games or other devices are to taken on excursions and students who are unable to comply with behavioural expectations will need to return to school/home at parental expense. Supervision and a suitable educational program will be provided for them at school. This decision rests with the teacher in charge.

Permission slip needs to be returned by Friday 9 June 2017
