Annual General Meeting – 2025

We welcome parents, staff and other members of our association to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The AGM is a mandatory meeting held by every Association where the actions and achievements of the past year (2025) are presented, with reports from the Chair, Treasurer, sub-committee conveners, and co-Principals. It is also the occasion to present the strategic direction for the School in the current year and beyond. Relevant questions from the School community to be addressed at the AGM are welcomed and can be submitted in advance by email to the Secretary of the Board, Wanda Anderson:  [email protected]

  • Wanda Anderson was appointed Board Secretary in November 2025 and will stand for election as per the Constitution

The Board is actively looking for individuals with legal and/or governance experience. Interest from the School community is welcome. For further details please see attached information on the role of Board directors and how to apply.

Role of Board Director

The position of Board Director requires commitment to the School and includes the following duties:

  • Attend Board meeting once a month (usually held at the School between 7pm to 9/10pm), which includes prior reading of the Board pack, and participating constructively in the discussions
  • Review and provide comments on Board documents (e.g., budget, policies, reports from sub-committees, letters to the School community)
  • Participate in the development and review of Board and/or Board sub-committee documents (e.g. strategic plan, risk register, policies, reports)
  • Provide a Police Clearance prior to joining the Board
  • Sign and adhere to the Board Code of Conduct.

Board Directors are legally accountable for (see full details in Clause 50 of the Constitution)

  • The development and implementation of a strategic plan for the School;
  • The risk management of the School (e.g. financial, operational, reputational, legal, student safety, welfare and wellbeing);
  • Ensuring the quality of the educational programs of the School and the development and implementation of effective processes for planning, monitoring and achieving improvements in student learning;
  • The effective management of the School’s financial resources and determining the application of the total financial resources available to the School, including the regular review of the budget;
  • Compliance with all written and other laws that apply to and in respect of the School and the operation of the School.
