A visit to our school gives you the opportunity to observe students as they work, explore our Montessori environment, and get a feel for our beautiful school.

Principal’s Tour

Our Co-Principals lead families on a tour of the School, providing an opportunity to see our learning environments and gain an understanding of what happens throughout the day.

Tours usually last around one hour and include plenty of opportunities to ask questions about Montessori education, our programmes and life at the School.

Classroom Observations

Observation is an important part of Montessori education. We welcome prospective families to observe our Pre-Primary, Lower Primary, Upper Primary and Lower Secondary classrooms.

Classroom observations provide an opportunity to see students working within their Montessori environments and to experience the calm, purposeful nature of the classroom.

Observations Guidelines

To allow you to experience the natural rhythm and atmosphere of the classroom, and to minimise disruption to the students’ work, we ask visitors to be as unobtrusive as possible.

• Remain seated in the chair provided;
• Do not engage the children in conversations;
• Be mindful that a child’s behaviour may be influenced by your presence.
• Turn your mobile phone off for the duration of the observation. Phones must not be used for calls, messages, emails or photography.

Staff are not available for discussion during observation sessions. Please make a note of any questions you have and speak with the School Office after your observation.

Observations Booking

Prospective families can book a Classroom Observation from Monday to Friday, between 9.00 am and 10.00 am, subject to availability.

Parent Discussion Nights

Throughout the year, we hold Parent Discussion Nights exploring different aspects of Montessori education, philosophy and life at our School.

These sessions provide an opportunity for families to learn more about Montessori education, ask questions and take part in discussions with staff and other parents.

Parent Discussion Nights are open to both current families and families considering our School.

Topics are planned across a rotating programme so that, over time, families have the opportunity to learn about the different stages of our Montessori programme, from Pre-Primary through to Lower Secondary, as well as the International Baccalaureate programmes in Upper Secondary.

These sessions are a valuable opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the principles that underpin our approach to education and how they are expressed throughout the School.
