Overview
At The Montessori School Kingsley, we are dedicated to authentic Montessori education, guided by pure Montessori principles. As Australia’s longest-running Montessori school, we provide a nurturing and enriching environment for children aged 3 to 18 years. Our mixed-age Montessori classrooms support students from pre-primary through to secondary. In Years 11 and 12, we offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and the Career-related Programme.
School Structure
Our structure is as follows:
- 3 x Pre-Primary Classes (ages 3 to 6 years)
- 3 x Lower Primary Classes (ages 6 to 9 years)
- 2 x Upper Primary Advisories (ages 9 to 12 years)
- 1 x Lower Secondary Cohort (Years 7-8-9)
- 1 x International Baccalaureate Cohort
- (Pre-International Baccalaureate (Year 10)
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (Years 11 and Year 12)

The Role
We seek a Montessori-trained, energetic, motivated, and passionate Montessori Upper Primary Teacher for a full-time position commencing in Term 1, 2026, or sooner.
Position Description
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent;
- Registration to teach with TRBWA
- Montessori Diploma or training suited to the relevant age group;
- Prior teaching experience in a Montessori school or environment;
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication, planning, and time management skills.
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training.
